Year Six Blog

Well done to everyone for providing a lovely assortment of pictures for our ‘Christmas Art’ display they really brighten up the classroom. We have been busy voting for our favourites – a very difficult decision to make as they are all FANTASTIC!!! 

All of the children sang beautifully this morning as we celebrated the birth of Jesus in our church service organised by Miss Rice and Rev. Leathley. It was a lovely end of term assembly. Well done Year 6 ‘Born in the Night’ was super.

Well done year 6. You seemed to have lots of fun yesterday at the disco. You were very energetic and noisy. I didn’t know there were so many great dancers….. I can’t wait for
Kingswood.

Apologies also to Casey who was last week’s winner. (Sorry but I’m having problems with my computer.)  He was nominated for having a good attitude - Well done!! Keep it up!

 Congratulations to Emma for winning this week’s award. She was one of a group nominated for helping set the Hall up for Christmas Dinner. Well done!

Don’t forget that Mike is not here this week so we will not be doing football on Thursday morning. Next week will be our last session. Let’s hope the weather is good.

This week’s winner of the year 6 award is Michael - well done! He was nominated for completing some good work in maths. Keep up the pleasing work.

Apologies to Anna who was last week’s Rory Award winner but unfortunately didn’t get a mention. She was nominated for being a brilliant helper. Congratulations! Anna.
