Year Six Blog

A belated thank you from Mrs Roberts and myself for all of the lovely cards and presents. We will be writing to you in September. We had a lovely end of term and were very proud of all of your achievements. You have been a delightful class and we are really sorry to see you go. We are sure that you will all do well in your new schools. Do your best and be happy. Please stay in touch. Enjoy your holidays and don’t do too much homework.

After a super assembly we had a rest before going off to ‘The Megabowl’. We had a great time and a variety of methods were used during the games. We also had a snack before visiting the arcade. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Thank you to Mrs Lawrenson and Mrs Devlin for helping.
Somehow the children managed to keep some energy for the disco at night. I’m sure they slept well. What a fantastic day for Year 6.

Another proud moment for all Green Park staff and parents. After the performances of ‘Oliver’ and Sports Day Year 6 were brilliant -once again - and presented a fantastic assembly. There was something for everyone - singing, dancing, drumming, a rock band, sketches, poems, memories and future ambitions shared. Thank you to everyone who attended this special event - it meant a lot.

A belated ‘Well Done’ to all of the juniors as the performances were excellent. As I was given the job of doing the lights it meant that I had a great view of the stage and choir. I was really proud of all of you and I’m sure that all of your families were as well. I can’t wait to see some of year 6 in future performances for their new schools. There is a lot of talent in the class ( even if I’m a little biased!).
I can’t wait to see the dvd.

Well done to all of the juniors your performance yesterday was excellent. I can’t wait for tonight!! It will be brilliant.

Belated congratulations to Laura - this week’s winner. She is excellent at organising and doing jobs around the classroom. Well done!!
